Guide Education is a UK-based edtech company addressing the global teacher shortage by delivering scalable, accessible, and engaging online teacher training. Founded in 2016, the company has helped train over 15,000 teachers, works with more than 700 schools, and has created thousands of educational videos viewed millions of times—organized into structured, outcome-focused courses.
Often referred to as the “Netflix for teaching”, Guide Education is focused on widening access to high-quality training content, especially for schools serving disadvantaged communities.
Approach
Guide Education engaged Novistra Capital to advise on a growth funding round that would support platform expansion and deepen the company’s impact across the UK and international markets. Novistra worked closely with the founder and management team to refine the positioning, structure the raise, and identify investor partners aligned with Guide’s mission and scale ambitions.
By drawing on its experience in edtech and education services, Novistra guided the company through a complex, founder-led Capital raise and helped optimize both valuation and investor alignment.
Outcome
Guide Education successfully raised over US$8 million from multiple investors. The capital will be used to expand content delivery, enhance platform capabilities, and extend reach to more schools and geographies—furthering Guide’s mission to improve the quality and accessibility of teacher training worldwide.
